tis the season as some demented souls have told me as of late! not a huge fan of the holidays. it just seems like the season has no "heart" any more. gift buying,decorating,cooking on and on blah blah blah!! just craziness. so, i have decided to help all of my little aspiring hags out this year. in this blog i will teach you a few of the magical ways that i survive the holidays!
now some of you will frown on some of my "magic" and some of it won't be exactly new. BUT it works and that is all that matters at my house!! btw, i LOVE cheap and i LOVE easy!! ha!
so, here is my receipe for homemade mac n cheese. it will run you a cost of between 10-15 buckaroos. this has been a mainstay and most requested item at all family and social gatherings for the past 10 or so years!!
go to your local grocery store or sam's club.
go to the freezer section and grab a box of Stouffers Mac and Cheese
purchase and return home.
bake in the oven according to directions. when done, take out of oven and transfer to large crock pot.be careful and don't burn your lovely fingers!!
turn crock pot to the lowest setting or warm till time to serve.
this is fool proof! can't miss!! no one sees me do it and what they don't know won't hurt them!!
really, this IS what i do! people have asked for the receipe, told me that it tastes the same way their mother,grandma,aunt betty,etc. used to make. maybe they all had the same IDEA!!? either way, it saves time and will make for a more relaxing event. just the way this hag likes it!!
